Oliver Markus Arzt, born in 1963, has spent over two decades ensuring the safety of civil air transport around the world by providing airplane handling support, especially in deicing/anti-icing  aeroplanes on the ground. 

In his all-important role, Mr. Arzt was responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining standards and procedures for deicing and anti-icing ofaeroplanes on theground at Frankfurt Airport/Germany. Additionally, he was charged with ensuring his firm was in compliance with all local and international standards, as well as executing integrated management systems i.e.environmental standards. In other words, a great deal of the company's fortunes rested squarely on Mr. Arzt's shoulders.

Mr. Arzt has more than 25 years of experience in the aircraft support field and is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and the Association of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Awards/Honors: Longtime Member Service Award, SAE International, Society of Automotive Engineers (2008) and VDI (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure, 2011) 

He attributes his success to being affiliated with knowledgeable people, a great team of motivated and highly sophisticated specialists and a supporting environment. He became involved in his present profession through the airport authorities when there was a lack of quality, resources and infrastructure in his field of operation. The highlight of his career was the foundation of N*ICE Aircraft Services & Support GmbH in 1999 at Frankfurt Airport as a result of excessive project work.
